Description
Cocoa Butter Refined (Organic) is a firmer, more structured butter with a cleaner scent and a smooth, slightly drier finish. It does not behave like soft shea. It gives products shape, body and a more solid feel, which makes it useful in balms, lotion bars, soaps and firmer body care formulations.
When warmed, it melts cleanly into the skin but leaves a more stable coating than a loose, creamy softness. That structure is its main strength. It helps formulas feel less floppy and more substantial. Used too heavily, though, it can make products feel stiff, waxy or draggy. What remains is a smooth, lightly coated finish with more firmness than plushness.
